About the Artists

Ember the Fire Sprite Ruth Thompson - Ember the Fire Sprite
copyright/legal information
A staple at any Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention art show, Ruth directs her focus to a more whimsical side of the Romantic Fantasy genre. Fairies, sprites, dragons, griffons and more abound in her pieces. Ruth's hand painted characters stand out from her works to show their verisimilitude and draw you into their worlds and make you desire more from your own banal life.

This is one of two pieces by Nene that I have won at art auctions. Corona I got at ValleyCon in Fargo, ND. Her art work is all hand painted and displays the pinnacle of the Romantic Fantasy genre, combining the human form (male and female) with nature (animals and plants) and the fantastic (dragons and the like) in some of the most beautiful and inspiring pieces I have seen.
Jeela V Rick Berry - Jeela V
copyright/legal information
I have always liked Rick's work ever since I started collecting and playing Heresy: Kingdom Come the Collectable Card Game. The cards in the game are taller than normal playing cards allowing for more artwork to be show, and the cards featuring Rick's work are absolutely phenominal. Please visit his site and take a look around, it is a very well made site and features not only Rick's works but those of his friend Darrel Anderson as well. All of their works are Computer Generated/Modified based on original work done by hand.
Titania L.A. Williams - Titania
Ahhh... will the wonders never cease? Williams is another staple of convention art shows. He has also done a lot of work on interior illustrations for gaming books and for collectable card games. Williams has more of a serious side to his works, and mostly works in black and white, but also uses acrylic paints more and more. Not my "favorite" artist, but definitely one of the more well known.
